Samba Experience is a traveling perfomance dedicated to the dissemination of Samba, this particular music genre that encapsulates the Brazilian soul.
The show is thus a sensory experience that transports your venue’s guests to Brazil for the period of 1-hour, where they can feel the pulsing rhythm of Samba and have a taste of Brazil with all their five senses. The show is presented both in English and Portuguese.
There are many ways to perform Samba. At Samba Experience we cultivate a passion for the origins of the genre and also add a contemporar y edge t o the performance. Each concert is a live act of creation, a unique experience that is renewed every day.
Aline Muniz and musicians present a heartfelt and original show that digs down into the roots of Brazilian music. After each song Aline shares a bit of the story of Samba and some information about the songs presented.
Meet the Singer
Aline Muniz (SHE/HER) is a singersongwriter, globe-trotter and movement catalyzer with Brazilian roots in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
Since her album debut, “Da pá virada”, released in 2008, she’s self-published 3 solo albums and a Sony Music signed solo project, OUTRA (2015), the latter targeting a more international crowd.
In 2019 Aline began a journey of challenging her musical and production abilities while living an eco-vegan lifestyle, performing in idyllic destinations around the globe.
A new album has emerged from this experience, Aline & Samba, a collaboration with samba ensamble Inova Samba, producer Lua Lafayette and composer Andrea Lafa, bringing some achingly beautiful melodies, and a tropical and high energy sound.
Aline Muniz has an unique and passionate approach to Brazilian music and offers a captivating performance. She is also the host for an independent YouTube show that presents the best live music venues of New York, Music York City, and is now paving the ways for a brand new video project about wellness and travel.
